About You: You are an experienced data scientist who wants to use your data skills to make an impact on the world’s biggest problems across global health and development. You want to spend most of your time building top-notch data tools, but also have an eye for best practices in data system architecture and interest in strategic thinking related to building a data culture. You have deep experience in our current data tools (see skillset below) and have a knack for picking up new tools as well.

Required Skillset

  • Experience setting up and/or managing SQL databases
  • Proficient in R - including data cleaning, transformation, and visualization development (e.g. Shiny apps)
  • Proficient in at least one BI tool – Tableau, PowerBI, Shiny apps in R

Preferred Skillset

  • Analytical model building experience in R (e.g. optimization, Monte Carlo Simulations, machine learning)
  • Experience with above skills in Python (in addition to R) would be a bonus
